Les Nymphes de Diane:
French Baroque Duets for Two Sopranos
- Les Nymphes de Diane is a concert of virtuosic French Baroque music for two sopranos, featuring works by Bernier and Couperin. The program was conceived by Sally Sanford and Brooke Bryant, both specialists in early music. The two have worked together since 1999, when Brooke began taking voice lessons with Sally during her first year at Wellesley College. Through fifteen years of collaboration, their voices have become acutely attuned. They are thrilled to be collaborating with Rosamund Morley and Alexandra Snyder Dunbar on this project, which debuted in Brooklyn in 2012. For more information, click here.
- The concerts in the W.H.M.S. series are always free. There is a suggested donation of $20, however nobody will be turned away at the door.
PARENTS: Please bring your children to a free music class while you attend the concert! No need to hire a babysitter! For more information, click here.
