Welcome to the website of Washington Heights Musical Society!

Washington Heights Musical Society, based in upper Manhattan, is a series of concerts and educational workshops inspired by music in history. The society’s mission is to promote professional musicians of Washington Heights and to enrich the musical offerings of the neighborhood.

Opening Concert:

Almava Trio.Sookkyung Cho, piano, Sara Cortinas, cello, and Stanichka Dimitrova, violin. Learn about Antonin Dvorak’s journey overseas to be the head of a new music school in New York City. Dvorak Piano Trio, No. 3, Op. 65 in f minor , Beethoven Piano Trio opus 121a on the theme, “Ich bin der Schneider Kakadu.”

All Concerts in the current season take place at the historic Holyrood Episcopal Church on 179th Street and Fort Washington Avenue.
