Wind Concert November 5, 5pm!

Mark your calendars for WHMS’s first concert of the year on Sunday November 5, at 5pm at the Hebrew Tabernacle! The Hebrew Tabernacle is at the corner of 185th and Fort Washington Avenue, 551 Fort Washington Avenue.
We will welcome the winds of fall with two exceptional wind players: Judith Mendenhall, flute and Roni Gal-Ed, oboe. They both have lived in Washington Heights for years and are world-class musicians. Our new artistic director, Maya Hartman, will accompany on piano. Please check out their bios below. How lucky we are to have such wonderful musicians in our neighborhood!Program will include works by Bach, Vivaldi, Nielsen and more, and will include a Q and A with the artists after the concert.

Suggested ticket prices are $10/$5 students and seniors at the door, $8/$4 in advance. You can send an email to to purchase tickets in advance through venmo or paypal. Ticket sales help cover the cost of venue and artist’s fees. No one will be turned away, and children are always free.
